Who We Are
Walt Roberts
President & CEO
Mr. Roberts founded Advanced Planning Advisors in 2012 after serving as Chief Marketing Officer at One Life America, leading Agent Recruiting, Training, Carrier Relations, Field Life Sales, Call Center Sales, and New Product Development. With over four decades of experience in the insurance industry, he has held leadership roles in Direct Marketing, Lead Development, and Sales Training. Before joining One Life America, Mr. Roberts was Senior Vice President of Marketing at Union Bankers Life Insurance, overseeing a team of 100+ and managing sales for over 900 agents. He has also held executive positions with Guarantee Reserve Life Insurance, Irish Life of North America, and Lincoln Insurance. Mr. Roberts is a Purdue University alumnus and holds an LUTCF designation.
Thomas Bachmann
Southwest Florida Vice President of Sales
Mr. Bachmann brings over 35 years of sales and marketing experience, including the last seven years as a certified agent in the life and health insurance industry. His extensive industry knowledge allows him to effectively address customer needs and collaborate on developing tailored solutions.
